This is a light floor, quick and easy to erect. Stripping time is also reduced to a minimum. Where long spans are required a saving is accured by the elimination of reinforced concrete beams that would be necessary with nornmal insitu construction.

The polystyrene blocks are suspended on pre-stressed beams. Then a high tensile mesh is laid down on which electrical conduct can be laid on and tied to. The amount of insitu concrete required is substantially reduced, resulting in savings in material and placing time.

Here we are able to change direction of our beams by using hangers.	Here we achieved a 9m clear span with a 1.5m cantilever by using triple beams with a 200mm block and 100mm concrete topping.	This picture shows a beam that has been boxed with the Flowcrete beams entering it with exposed wires.
